山根 晋 Shin Yamane
山根晋（Shin Yamane）は、1985年生まれの写真家・アーティスト。写真や映像といったメディウムの性質を独自に経験化しながら、場所や時間、記憶や身体感覚を起点とした作品を発表してきた。近年は写真を「現実と似て非なる複雑な構造体」として捉え、制作を通じてそのあり方を探究している。
近年の代表的な作品
・海の波打ち際を撮影した《臨海》（Photography｜2023~）
・個人の「もっとも古い記憶」の音声を素材とした《深記憶録-空間- 佐賀白石》（Installation｜2024）
・パフォーミング・アーツのコレクティブSC∀L∃R（スカラー）での《齢 instar》シリーズ（Video Projection｜2022）
・陶芸家・黒田泰蔵氏の晩年の作品を撮影した《ENTO/MEIPIN》（Photography・Installation｜2021）
・写真集『A day in February with light Kuroda Taizo』（森岡書店｜2021）などがある。
Shin YAMANE
Shin Yamane (b. 1985) is a photographer and artist whose practice explores the distinctive qualities of photography and moving image through lived experience. His works take place, time, memory, and bodily perception as points of departure. In recent years, he has come to regard photography as “a complex structure that resembles reality yet is fundamentally distinct from it,” and continues to investigate its nature through his practice.
